Pumpkin Patch Fun

Pumpkin fun! 10-20-08

We went with our goods friends Jason, Sara and their two kids (Allie and Nate) to this sweet pumkin patch, corn maze, slides, and animals. We had to go on a monday night after our men got off work cause it was the only day we could arrange to do it before haloween. It was soooooooo worth the ton of money we spent and we loved it. The kids ran like crazy monkeys and lucky me i got to join in too. I think i enjoyed the 20-30 ft high slides almost as much as they did. These are a few off the pictures we took i think between the two cameras we got over 100 pics.

Mandy's Wedding

One of my good friends got married on Oct 25th and i got to be a BRIDESMAID!!! It was okay i will say it will be the only time i do it. I enjoyed being a part of the wedding. I must say it was a long day though and it didn't help that i had just gotten home from being in Boise for 2 1/2 days doing a freelance interpreting job. so i got home friday at 11:30 pm woke up snuggled with my kids and left at 9:45am but i knew i would be tired and seperated from my family for a few days with me taking that job in Boise. Well here is one picture with my friend Esther who i stayed with in Boisse and the rest are at the wedding!! The first picture is of me helping mandy's ringbearer (her son) tie the rings back onto the pillow cause they fell off and her ring actually broke which sucked but the are going to take it back to the jewelry store for them to fix. and the one with us holding hte flowers in front of our eyes is cause we needed a sun block our eyes were hurting sooooooooo bad!!

Crazy Life!!

Sometimes i wonder what i would do if i didn't have soooooo much to do. Would i keep my house clean? would i get all my half done crafts done? would i relax!!? (how i wish i could!) Well this last week and upcoming weeks will be no different i will continue to run around until i am blue in the face!! This week i have a job relate conference in Boise ID so i am leaving for the wednesday after work for that and will be working all day thursday 12 hours and then all day friday only about 7 hours then i am driving home that night so i can be ready for my friends wedding on saturday where i am a bridesmaid for the first and last time of my life!! and her wedding is seriously going to be a full day afair with almost no breaks. then next week will be halloween in poky i hope and that saturday i will be doing scentsy fun allllllllllll day too i might have 3 parties. The early parts of my week look calm but they will be spent trying to catch up on laundry, cleaning, time with the family and tmrw we are going with some neighbors for some halloween fun, corn maze, hay slides, pumpkins and more!! I got a little razzed for not having a single picture of johnny with my last blog so i will add it to here!! and i will post another blog about tmrws fun after tmrw happens!!!

Johnny!

Well this last week was interesting! Scott's best friend Johnny Cardell came to stay 2 days and 1 night with us before he flew to Australia to be with his wife. So we decided to go to the park and take some pictures with him cause he is an uncle to the kids and like a brother to scott so i thought it would be fun. And johnny has a freakin nice camera so we needed to use it right? I will put these pictures on a slide show as soon as i can figure it out but for now her are a few to tease you all!!

Craft Show!

The last week was again another crazy week I was getting ready for my craft show where i was selling my scentsy *wickless candles* (www.scentsy.com/moon) and my jewelry so needless to say all last week i was getting 4-5 hours of sleep! Then Scott decided to also can some beef, chicken, and boston baked beans. Which ment my kitchen was dirty again!

When i went to pocatello for the craft show i knew i couldn't have the kids with me during the weekend cause they couldn't be at the show so Grandma and Grandpa Doncouse kept them from friday morning till saturday night for me and the kids loved it they got to play tons watch movies in the theater room ride a horse and pretty much just wipe grandma and grandpa out! while the kids were playing i was selling at the show and friday night I stayed the night at my friend Julie and Dustin's house and we played wii fit which she is now the leader in hula hooping (I will be changing that soon!) and we just played and had fun. Then on saturday i was planning on driving home after the show when Julie offered ther house again even though i had my kids with me! WOW brave friends!!!!!! So we stayed and it again was a blast the kids were good and full of energy!! Especially Shane cause he got a late nap at Doncouse's and then we let them have brownies and ice cream! Then we tried to watch the morning conference through the kid noise. THe kids loved playing with julie and dustin and it was so fun watching them all together. Thanks Julie and Dustin for such a fun and relaxing weekend I love you both and i am grateful that we are such great friends. Especially thanks for being so patient! and loving to my kids they love you both and love play with you!!

Canning!!!

I am happy to say that after 8 days an average of 6-7 hours a day. we are finally done with all our peaches, pears, and green beens we have canned about 240 jars ranging in size and items in it!! Unfortunantely we will be reopening some of our juices to turn them into jelly and syrup!! I am hoping that we can wait a few weeks or months before we start into those! Now i am just trying to clean and take all the jars to the basement! These pictures are from sunday showing the mid way progress!!!
