Crazy Cupcakes

I forgot to post these fun rainbow cupcakes we made around st. patrick's day. They were so cool looking i was proud of myself for actually making them not just wanting to and never doing it. The cupcakes were supposed to be layered like a rainbow but when they cook the batter boils and they become a tie-dye effect which was sweet.

I rock!!

If i had bought all this at full price it would have cost me $102.95 but instead i am incredible and only payed $8.54 for everything!!!!

That would be 1 shirt for Adrea, 1 shirt for Shane, 2 Shirts for Scott, Jammie pants for me and 3 flashlights!! I love Old Navy, Harbor Freights, and JcPenny's! Just had to share how cool i am!

Lame??

I look at my blog and think about things i haven't posted like our hot air balloon festival day and some camping trips or at times i just think i should post more and stare at the computer wondering if there is anything fun or excited we do. So there are days i think we are LAME!!! but yet i feel busy all the time weird i know but seriously how can i be busy yet do nothing. I know Scott has been playing in the kitchen alot lately especially with Olive Garden Recipes (i think the kids are getting tired of new things but they keep eating and not much complaining so i am grateful for their adaptability) and we went grocery shopping together on Monday which sounds kind of lame but we wrote a menu out for once and a grocery list so it was a huge accomplishment and a huge hit to the budget! :) But way worth it. Tuesday i had a Relief Society activity. Wednesday i stayed home sick with a headache and slept most of the day then we took the kids to the Tree House museum after Scott cooked Steak Gorgonza. Then tonight our plan was to take the kids to the park play soccer and then have a picnic (we planned it Monday) well now with the rain i am thinking either swimming at the gym or snuggling in blankets and reading Harry Potter sounds fun. But the Relief Society Meeting i should go to doesn't sound fun at all!! Then every Friday we try to have a movie night with the kids (sometimes we watch with them sometimes we are trying to do things around the house) then sat. i have a work workshop from 9-4 in SLC that i don't want to go to and/or we have kids soccer games. Plus we have been working really hard to read scriptures together as a family and i still need to get things ready for the baby who is coming in about 40 days!! I am so grateful for my life and all the things i have. Scott asked me last night if i was happy? so i thought and thought and thought some more. then i told him 1 minor thing that we both do that drives me crazy sometimes but really as a whole i love my life and i wont change a thing about it!

Model Trains

We decided a fun saturday activity would be to go to the model train show. We paid to enter and found out at the end the part we enjoyed the most was the free part! ugh but oh well we enjoyed. The fun pictures are LEGOS!!! it was amazing what they created.

Christmas Break 09

We were lucky and had friends come stay with us for the week between Christmas and New Years and here are some pictures of the fun!!

Christmas

For Christmas this year we decided to do something strange i had never done before. NOT go to Idaho!!! weird i know but Scott had never been to AZ to visit his sisters that live there (12 yrs) and he suggested that we should go! Well i love an adventure so we drove down on Wednesday and back on Monday. We stayed with his sister Stephanie but we got to do lots of fun things with all 18 of us!! Talk about crazy i am used to 4 people going to 18 is a big change and tons of fun. Christmas Eve day we made cookies for Santa then we went to one of Kristy's friends for Christmas Eve (yes all 18 of us). They are Hispanic and had their traditional things 2 Pinatas for us and the kids then the kids watched a movie, we ate I forgot the name of the food but it was a Hispanic Soup, and played games it was very different than my normal Christmas time but tons of fun. Then on Christmas afternoon we went to Kristy's for dinner and a few games there. Then Saturday was a play and try to relax a little day! Scott thinks we should go next year but we will see where we go.
