Monkey!!!!!!

MONKEY!!!! Adrea's favorite toy from when she was little was this russ monkey that Grandma Gallagher bought her when she was only about 6 months old. I remember it exactly we were wandering the mall in salem/portland!! and we were in a little game type store and i let adrea pick an animal to carry around the store while we looked around and she picked the monkey. Well she loved it and help on tight the whole time so when we were getting ready to leave Grandma decided that the cutie needed to have it for her own! Hence the monkey was born. Adrea truly loved this monkey and slept with it every night alot of people never say it cause i was to scared to carry it every where for fear we would lose her love! Well this last summer Grandma Gallagher came to visit from MI so i decided to take the monkey with us to see her to show her the worn and loved animal......

As you can see that is the day the unthinkable happened... we went to the 24th of July fireworks that night and because we already had him with us, but who would think that a park full of people watching the fireworks would get soaked in sprinklers!!! so as we ran off the field we must have dropped monkey and cause Adrea fell asleep in the car we didn't know he was missing until the next night at bed time. so after we put the kids in their beds i went up to this secluded park to look for the monkey! (which those of you who know me well know i am scared of the dark or at least the people who hide in it!!) I must really love this girl and then the next morning we went looking for the monkey together! We found a live wild turtle but no wild monkey!!

So then began my hunt to find the replacement monkey so she would stop being sad every night and then on lovely Dec day we get a package in the mail from the one and only Grandma Gallagher!!!!! and what is in it, yes a brand new MONKEY!!!! exactly the same as the first one ya ya what a happy day (Shane got a cute frog too) Now our life is right again because we have monkey. No monkey doesn't have a name he is just monkey and i think i should just find 6 more to be prepared for the next one to get lost or worn out!! :) Thank you Grandma and Grandpa.

Capri-suns!!

I decided i wanted to make purses out of capri-suns to sell at the craft show after Stephanie and i made them in Arizona. Really i told her my idea and forced her to make them for me!! :) Weird thing is she jumped right in with me too! so she sewed us some great bags and i thought they would be great for the craft show so me and the kids started drinking!!! but after you drink them you have to wash them so shane and i proceeded to do that one winter night.

Food storage!!

Okay as so many of you know my husband is a bit of a paranoid man!! Nough said with that but we have been working on our food storage and decided we really needed some new shelves and we were sick of buying them to just fill with 40 cans so scott built a massive one that loads from the back and pulls from the front so we could rotate the cans easily!! Thank you Scott!! You are amazing and i love my shelves

Then Mister Shane was wanted to help me load so i let him and then he got tired and wanted to take my picture so i let him do that too!!

Big bed!

We finally let Adrea get a big bed we figured her head was touching one end and her feet the other i guess it was finally time!!!

We got the kids matching jammies for Christmas i think they are super cute so i had to share!!

This is one of Shane's first pictures where he tried to match something he was so proud of himself (so was i!!)

Cookie's with Santa

We are members at our local children's museum and they love to have parties and events for the kids so this Dec (and last) we went to the party cookis with santa. It is lots of fun with the game's and of course cookies then story time with Santa. The kids loved it and Adrea really wanted to see Santa fly away! He told the kids the reindeer were on the roof so as we left she didn't want to walk to the car she wanted to stand there and watch till Santa flew away.
